Hello, I'm Catherine.

I am committed to providing counselling that's firmly grounded in the principles of compassion and respect for clients who come to see me. Everyone encounters difficulty at some time in their life and seeking support is a really positive step towards finding a way through the problems.

The sessions provide a safe environment to talk freely about your thoughts and feelings and offer a valuable opportunity to take a pause in the middle of the busyness or stress of daily life.

If something is causing you distress and is important to you, it is good to talk about it, no matter what the problem is.

Counselling can be either open ended or short term (e.g. 6-8 sessions) depending on your needs and we can talk about this in your initial session.

I have a wide range of experience; I have worked with university students, in low-cost counselling agencies, in private practice, as an addictions counsellor and with an employee assistance programme as a telephone counsellor/assessor and affiliate counsellor.

I currently work from conveniently located counselling rooms on the High Street in Westbury-on-Trym, in the Southville area of Bristol and from January 2019 in South Wales.
